This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be granted for membership dues, event registrations, and other services or products offered by the Texas Division of the International Association for Identification (TDIAI).
Membership dues are non-refundable except under the following conditions:
The Texas Division of the IAI (TDIAI) has proudly served forensic science professionals in Texas for over 80 years. With the creation of the TDIAI Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity, we have expanded our ability to provide educational opportunities and advocacy for the forensic science community.
TDIAI and the TDIAI Foundation, while separate entities, partner to host events that serve the dual purpose of professional development and education. However, events held by the TDIAI Foundation are governed by the Foundation's own policies, which may differ from those of TDIAI.
The following refund policies apply to events hosted by TDIAI:
TDIAI Events: For professional networking, certification training, and advocacy-focused events organized by TDIAI:
TDIAI Foundation Events: For educational seminars, workshops, and other training events hosted in partnership with TDIAI but governed by the TDIAI Foundation:
Refunds for merchandise or services purchased through TDIAI will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of purchase.
Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of approval and will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
