The Texas Division of the International Association for Identification was chartered in 1935 as a professional organization for crime scene analysts, latent print examiners, evidence technicians, forensic scientists, and law enforcement personnel. Our membership is comprised of practitioners from independent school districts, academia, medical examiner's offices, private industries, and local, county, state and federal agencies. While the TDIAI is 501(c)(6) non-profit professional organization created to represent the interests and needs of forensic professionals throughout the great State of Texas in 2021 the TDIAI Foundation was formed as a 501(c)(3) public charity to make forensic education, training, and research more accessible and affordable to all in Texas.
